How to Add Attributes​

  • Click on the Attributes tab from the left-hand side menu bar.
  • Select and click on the Attributes option.
  • Click Add to create a new attribute.

Fill in the required details:

  • Attribute Code: Enter a unique code to define the attribute (e.g., Substrate, Lamination, Binding). Format: 001, 002, etc.
  • App/Web Code: Enter the app/web code for the attribute. Preferably the same as the attribute code.
  • Display Caption: Enter the display name visible to users (e.g., Substrate, Lamination).
  • Description: Provide a short description about the attribute’s properties, type, or feature.
  • Display: Select Yes if this attribute should be visible in the product definition tool.
  • Click Save to create the new attribute.

To edit an existing attribute:

  • Click the Edit icon next to it.
  • Make the necessary changes.
  • Click on the Save button.

How to Add Attribute Options

  • Click on the Attributes tab.
  • Select and click on the Attribute Options.
  • Click on the Add button to add a new attribute option.

Fill in the required details:

  • Attribute: Select the defined attribute from the dropdown (e.g., Substrate) for which the option is being added.
  • Attribute Option Code: Enter a unique code to define the attribute option (e.g., Matt, Gloss, None).
  • Description: Enter a short description explaining the option's type, feature, or purpose.
  • Option Description: Provide a more detailed explanation, e.g., “Gloss finish offers a shiny surface suitable for photo prints.”
  • Image: Paste a direct image URL that represents this option (e.g., https://example.com/images/gloss.jpg).
  • Click Save to add the new option.

To edit an existing attribute option:

  • Click on the Edit button.
  • Make the necessary changes.
  • Click on the Save button.
