Ready Product Flow

Creating a New Product in EzyCreate

Overview​

This document outlines the step-by-step procedure to create a Ready product in EzyCreate, from the initial selection of a product blank to finalizing the product page. It includes definitions of essential terms, preconditions, and detailed execution steps for each phase of the process.

Key Terminologies​

  • Product Blank A foundational base item (e.g., mug, t-shirt) that includes only basic definitions such as dimensions and type. Example: A standard 11oz mug with no associated template or sales info.

  • Product A market-ready item that includes all selling attributes like pricing, eCommerce metadata, and at least one design template.

  • Product Types

    • Customizable Product: Users can personalize using the design tool (e.g., add text, images).

    • Ready Product: Pre-designed product, may or may not support image uploads.

  • Template A pre-defined design layout applied to a product blank.

  • Template Group A collection of templates with a shared design structure used to organize variants.

  • Variant A version of the product that differs by design, size, color, etc., within the same template group.

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) A unique identifier assigned to each variant.

  • Ready Album A curated group of pre-uploaded images used in product customization.

Preconditions​

Before beginning, ensure the following:

  • You are logged into EzyAdmin.
  • You have the necessary permissions to create and manage products.
  • At least one Product Blank and one Published Template are available.

Procedure: How to Create a Ready Product​

Step 1: Navigate to Product Creation​

  1. Log in to EzyAdmin.
  2. From the left sidebar, go to Products → My Products.
  3. Click + Create new product.

Step 2: Select a Product Blank​

  1. Under Step 1 - Product Blank, click Select product blank.
  2. Choose a base item (e.g., Standard Mug).
  3. Preview details such as name, ID, size, description.
  4. Click Next.

Step 3: Choose Product Type​

  1. In the Product Type tab, select:
    • Ready product
  3. Click Next.

Step 4: Select Template​

  1. Click Select a template.
  2. Choose your desired template design. Note: If the template doesn’t appear, confirm it’s published.
  3. Click Next.

Step 5: Add Product Variants​

  1. In the Product Variants tab, click + Add variants.
  2. Ensure:

    • All variants are from the same template group.

    • All are visually unique.

    • One is marked as default using the Set default option.

  4. Use the trash icon to delete any unwanted variant.
  5. Click Next.

Step 6: Enter Product Details​

  1. Select the product language (e.g., English).

  2. Fill in the following:

    • Product Name

    • Description

    • Specifications (materials, dimensions, etc.)

    • Tags (for filtering and search)

  4. Click Next.

Step 7: Manage Albums & Upload Settings​

  1. Click Select albums to associate image collections. (You can manage these via Creative Asset → Ready Albums)
  2. Remove any albums not required.
  3. Optionally, enable Allow users to upload photos while customizing.
  4. Click Next.

Step 8: Set Product Prices​

  1. View all added variants along with editable fields:SKU & Price
  2. Click the Edit icon next to each to set prices.
  3. After editing, click Save for each entry.
  4. Click Next.

Step 9: Upload Mockup Images​

  1. Upload mockups or preview images.
  2. Ensure mockups visually represent the selected template.
  3. Click Next.

Step 10: Final Preview and Save​

  • Review the complete product setup, including: Product details, Variants, Pricing, Albums, Mockups
  • If everything looks accurate, click Save.
